INTENSIVE

Embark on a transformative two-week adventure designed for dancers, aged 13 to 19, where participants will receive professional training in a variety of dance styles and techniques. The intensive will culminate in a showcase where various dance styles and techniques will be harmoniously integrated to create a fusion dance performance.

All sessions will be led by experienced choreographers. Fly River's intensive is designed to nurture creativity, foster collaboration, and enhance artistry. Participants will be encouraged to push their boundaries and explore new dimensions of dance. Through intensive training and inspiring mentorship, dancers will not only refine their skills but also develop the confidence to express themselves artistically.

This unique experience promises to leave a lasting impact, helping young dancers grow into versatile performers with a passion for movement.

Meet the Choreographers

Ghana Boii – A visionary in the Afrobeats dance movement, Ghana Boii brings a masterful blend of creativity, precision, and cultural authenticity to every performance. With an electrifying presence on both stage and screen, he has choreographed and danced for some of the biggest icons in the music industry, including Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, and Wizkid. His career highlights include choreographing and performing in Beyoncé’s acclaimed visual album Black Is King (ALREADY & SPIRIT), co-choreographing Rihanna’s 2018 GRAMMYs performance of Wild Thoughts, and sharing the stage with Janet Jackson at the Global Citizen Festival. He has also appeared in high-profile music videos such as Wizkid & Drake’s Come Closer and Janet Jackson’s Made For Now while performing on major platforms like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the MTV VMA Awards, and STARZ’s Run the World. Beyond his performance career, Ghana Boii is a dedicated choreographer who has shaped live performances for Davido, Yemi Alade, and GoldLink, bridging the energy of Afrobeats with global audiences.

Imani Ayanna – Imani Ayanna is a dynamic force in the world of Afro-Caribbean dance, blending tradition, passion, and artistry into every movement. Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, NY, with deep Guyanese roots, she is a professional dancer, choreographer, and cultural educator dedicated to using movement as a tool for empowerment, self-expression, and healing. With expertise in Traditional African, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Soca, Ndombolo, Modern, and Haitian dance, Imani has built an impressive career performing alongside some of the biggest names in music, including Kevin Lyttle, Patrice Roberts, Machel Montano, and Davido. She has graced major stages such as the International Soca Monarch in Trinidad, the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, and the African Entertainment Awards, captivating audiences with her electrifying presence and deep cultural authenticity. Beyond performance, Imani has trained and danced with esteemed companies such as Harambee Dance Company, Lakai Dance Theater, Kofago Dance Ensemble, and Fritzation, further cementing her expertise in the diasporic dance traditions she so powerfully represents.

Moe Black – Moe Black is a powerhouse in the Litefeet dance movement, seamlessly blending authentic street style with professional versatility. As a choreographer, performer, and cultural ambassador for Litefeet, he has showcased his talents in major productions, including Sneakerella (Disney+), Lock In: A Litefeet Story (CBS Sports Network), and The Changeling (Apple TV). His high-energy performances have graced The Ellen Show, Wild 'N Out, and global stages such as Red Bull BC One, Summer Jam, and the Dubai Shopping Festival. Beyond the stage, Moe Black has worked with industry icons like Alicia Keys, Sheck Wes, and Fabolous, while collaborating with top brands such as Nike, Adidas, Valentino, and Polaroid. With a signature style that fuses Litefeet’s intricate footwork with hip-hop foundations, he continues to inspire the next generation of dancers, preserving the essence of NYC street dance while pushing its evolution forward.
